ABOUT me

Ben Malone is a 27 year old multi-instrumentalist hailing from the Southern Highlands in NSW. He has been gigging around the country for well over a decade, supporting artists such as Pete Murray, ICEHOUSE, Sons of the East, The Rubens, and Irish rock band Kodaline.

2024 and 2025 were years that saw him go all around the country with The Ultimate Luke Combs Tribute Show as lead guitarist and Musical Director. He was also able to help create a record with the longest running active indigenous band The Stiff Gins, and was involved in their album ‘Crossroads’ and tour through various states and territories. This record went on to become a finalist in the NSW Music Prize of 2025, and Ben has been able to perform at various festivals and revered venues around the country through the album.

2026 is already providing amazing musical opportunities for Ben. He continues to work with The Ultimate Luke Combs Tribute Show and The Stiff Gins, as well as joining forces with some of the country’s best musicians in an all-star touring show called The Superstars Of Country, featuring the music of Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Chris Stapleton. He has fostered a great friendship with Syd Green (19-Twenty, Kasey Chambers), with whom ‘Crossroads’ was recorded, and has music in the wings, ready to be released in late 2026/early 2027.

If Ben is in town and you can manage to catch a set of his, whether it be solo or with a band, you won’t be disappointed. He provides a live music experience like no other, and plays all your favourite hits.

Ben has a Spotify playlist of the tracks that he has played on, contributed in the writing, or helped with the production of below, as well as a link to the Stiff Gins’ ‘Crossroads’ album on Bandcamp:
